Research Background

Melanotan 2 (MT-2) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of alpha-MSH. Research has investigated its activity at melanocortin receptors, with studies examining pigmentation pathways, melanocyte biology, and CNS melanocortin receptor interactions in preclinical models.
